"RS, don't be afraid to voice your thoughts at FR, ...."
Thanks I didn't realize you could do that :-)

"And Time's past choices of people to be Man of Year are relevant only as illustrations of how out of touch with reality that the lame-stream media actually is."
That may be so, but Times Man of the Year is given according to Times criteria, and Rush has simply not made news - ( besides the mention of his drug use as in todays Doonesbury ).
If you wish to count behind the scenes people who did NOT have the spotlight, Karl Rove or even George Soros did much more then Rush to effect the news.
Sorry RS, I though for a minute you were a new conservative that just hadn't gotten into the swing of things. Instead you are just another lame brain trying to disrupt an otherwise delightful conversation. Time and its related lame-stream publications are the last surviving relics of the brain-washing propaganda era. As for Rush, his best days are ahead of him, while your heroes are headed for the ash-heap of history. And as a little preview of things to come, ten years from now there will not be a living American who will admit they were Democrats. Or is that Dimocrats? Dumocrats, maybe? It is going to be fun watching your idols go up in smoke.
