Did all of your conservatism spring out of you or, most likely, somebody (parents, family, friends, pundits, etc.) showed you the way?It came primarily from real-world experience, but it it more akin to Goldwater-conservatism, that is, philosophically consisent conservatism, not what passes for conservatism as heard on the AM band of the radio for the past 20 years or so.
That, and possibly having to take Latin and logic in high school way back in the day.

In my almost forty years on this planet, I've come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as one brand of conservatism. I just have to sift through all the different divisions and pick out what I think is correct.
BTW, I don't agree with Rush or any particular pundit 100%. Hopefully, "the "mind numb robots" habitate the Moore/Soros wing of political thought, not ours.
