MADISON, Wis. A radio talk show host who called Condoleezza Rice an "Aunt Jemima" issued an apology Friday, but not to Rice.
"It is with a heavy heart that I apologize this morning to Aunt Jemima," John "Sly" Sylvester said on WTDY-AM in Madison. "She wasn't a self-serving hack politician who got up in front of Congress and lied. Aunt Jemima didn't kowtow to Don Rumsfeld or Dick Cheney."

Here the deal. If you live in Madison WI, file a complaint with the FCC (http://www.fcc.gov). It only takes a few complaints to get action.
Some of the same drivel is being used via Air Amerika and the local Progressive station here in South Florida and have filed several complaints as well as contacting local groups.
This isn't Alabama 1963, and this cannot be tolerated on our Airwaves. It IS NOT free speach.
Act.

I say let them show their idiocy, their true colors!

file a complaint with the FCC I really don't want government adjudicating what's said on the air. If they can limit/censor/control what this knucklehead says, they can limit Rush and others. No thanks. This belongs in the court of public opinion.

CONSERVATIVE radio talk show host Mark Belling on WINS in Milwaukee was suspended for a week after using the term "wetback" to describe illegal aliens.
Hispanic hissyfits all over MILwaukee shut him off for a week.
Where is the equity in "hissyfits"?

I'm with both you guys. Let's not open the door to censorship--plus the more this guy talks and people hear him, the more people he alienates.

Forget the FCC, if Michael Powell, head of the FCC was not insulted by this idiot DJ when he called Powell's father Colin an "uncle tom" then I doubt he cares about anyone else.
If ya really want to teach these bigots a lesson call their advertisers and find out if they appreciate the racial slurs. Hitting them in the wallet always works. LOL
Check out the station's website for their advertisers.

Awww, let the left make fools of themselves. This kind of blatant racism helps our cause, by waking blacks up to the fact Republicans don't care what skin color someone has, as long as they have character and ability.

I don't live in Wisconsin, but I was offended nevertheless and just filed the following complaint. All you have to do is click the "complaint link" at the FCC website.
Dear Sirs:
I would like to lodge a complaint about the profane remarks made by the radio host, John Sylvester on WTDY (AM) a Madison, Wisconsin Radio station. The fact that such a bigoted person would feel that he can hurl racial slurs against Condoleeza Rice and Secretary Colin Powell on the federally licensed airwaves and get away with it is amazing. If Mr. Sylvester wants to stand on a soap box on a street corner and make racist remarks, that is his right, but I feel that when he uses the public airwaves for that purpose, the American people should have the right to object. Thank you for your attention to this matter; I have pasted an AP article below that describes this incident.
Sincerely

The hypocrisy of the left amazes me every time. It shouldn't surprise me, but it appalls me every time. The left shows their hypocrisy constantly, and then they twist the truth and blame Republicans for their faults. But the American people are waking up. Thank goodness.

We don't need to get excited about the words this guy uses; it's just a publicity stunt and a bid for making the FCC a venue for deciding free speech issues.
It's better that he should continue spew hate with fewer and fewer listeners, and take his own station down the tubes.

WISN-AM (1130) has taken talk show host Mark Belling off the air - at least temporarily - for his use of a derogatory term for illegal Mexican immigrants on his Oct. 27 program. In a statement read at the usual 3 p.m. opening of his show, an announcer said: "WISN is adamantly opposed to the use of racially offensive language. As a result of his comment and subsequent actions, Mark Belling is currently not on the air. "We regret the incident occurred, and we look forward to helping educate the public about ethnic diversity.Ignorant, poorly educated, hypocritical liberals really scare me. Their minds can't seem to develop the critical thinking skills(See DUmmie Funnies) necessary to make the the moral and ethical distinctions needed to fully participate in a democratic society.

Yes, but if Rush said something 1000th as offensive, Senators would be giving speeches demanding he be banned from Radio. Giving the left a free pass, does not mean they will not go after Rush, Hannity or anybody on the right for even the slightest offense.
Look what happened to Rush on ESPN.
