The same argument was used against the parents of the children back in the 1980's. Just refer to the parents as the 'children of the '60s'.
Ok, the world isn't coming to an end. The hysterical warnings didn't come to pass. So, it's ok that VD rates are higher, crime and suicide rates are worse than 30 years ago and kids are getting fatter? Let's sit back and do nothing?
