Regarding the Internet rumors, no member of Freeman's staff made any derogatory or discriminating comments towards Jenna or Barbara Bush. We are a non-partisan establishment and pride ourselves on having a diverse clientele. The Bush twins or any member of the first family are welcome to join us for dinner anytime.
Thanks.
What you are demonstrating is how mean spirited leftist are.
If they're waiting until a Democrat wins the White House again, they'll be "full" (of it) for much longer than 4 years.
the party of tolerance strikes again!
The restaurant just wants publicity. Why comply?
We could all call and reserve tables for Saturday night...and then not show up.
Or how about we take turns calling and asking them to page Seymour Butts?
Screw the place.
Dear TexasGreg,
The 1964 Civil Rights Act banned discrimination based on membership in five protected classes: race, religion, color, ethnic origin, and sex.
At least as it applies to employment law, there is no bar to discrimination based on politics.
I expect that the management of a restaurant may also discriminate based on politics, all things being equal.

Purely out of curiosity, and entirely off topic, is it really true that simply finding cigarette butts in some part of a restaurant in NY is taken to be proof of violating the smoking ban, leading to hefty fines?
I thought I read that somewhere...
Gee, isn't that descrimination?
It's a 'Rat restaurant and they just pissed off any Republicans or normal human being who might have gone there before?
What did the SS agents do?
You can send a complaint to the NY City Commission on Human Rights for discrimination:
http://nyc.gov/html/mail/html/mailchr.html
The "Massive" SS agents don't ring true.
Just get them to get the word of mouth out NOT to eat there and tell everyone they know, their dad knows, their family knows, friends, etc. Word of mouth is a strong thing for a business, it can help you or it can kill you.
What p***es me off is how much support we gave NYC after the 9/11/01 attacks. (we meaning, the Bushes and Red Staters)
Won't get fooled again...
I say "Close 'em down, close 'em down". There must be
something besides discrimination they are in violation of.
