Man, these threads are becoming tiresome. It's like years of debates on this issue on FR have never happened and new waves of Creationists appear, making the same argument over and over again. Yes, I too have noticed that the evolutionists are the same old crowd with the same old worn out arguments. That all indicates that your side is not growing. Of course that does not prove anything except that evolutionist ad hominem attacks are not at all persuasive.

I cannot imagine how any honest individual could believe the evolutionists make more ad hominems than the creationists. Theirs might be deadlier in their accuracy, but the creationists pull no punches. (Well, most don't.)
As for their ability to convince... some of us sit quietly and watch, leaving the debate to the professionals. I wasn't sure at first, but after years of seeing the creationists repeat canards, some knowingly sacrificing their honesty and integrity all too often, I am sure now. If the creationists can't come up with better than they have, they should hush until they do - for the sake of future credibility.
And while I'm here... lol... IMHO, many Christian parents are setting their children up for trouble by unnecessarily forcing them to chose between God and science.

(Most of our so-called reasoning consists in finding arguments for going on believin as we already do)
