They did? I thought they murdered millions in their own names, as a replacement for God. People go astray and woship Golden Calves again and again. In Europe today that "calf" is Secular Humanism, and it is threatening to lead to their own destruction by Islam.

A moral people with strong religious beliefs and a just government which does infringe on those beliefs can withstand a scientific theory.

It never ceases to amaze me that creationists will use the lie that evolution inspired the brutality of communist and nazi regimes. It's not alone that they have to lie about the influence that theory had (which is usually none), but they also completely miss the point that the consequences of a belief are completely irrelevant to the truth of a belief. That much is irrelevant, however, because the theory of evolution does not, in any way, say "kill all Jews". Anyone who thinks that a scientific theory makes a sound basis for a political system is an idiot, and anyone who blames a scientific theory for the failure of a brutal political system is also an idiot.
