re # 41...I remember the box sitting on the kitchen table....and that smiling black face....and the pancakes were great.

It was long ago... before the hate really surfaced and the politicians ran with it. The turning point, of course, was Johnson and his "great Society" (which essentially destroyed black families north and south).

But it is surely better for Black people now....aunt 'Jemia' or not.

Actually this is a compliment to Condi...Aunt Jamima was one fine lady. She took her job seriously, was a hard worker, was kind to everyone, and held her family very close.
