I don't know what neck of the woods you live in....but here in my state illegals are taking ALL the "entry level" jobs in housing, construction, heating HVAC, Plumbing, Autobody repair, etc.
What this does in effect is to screw all the (American) tech school grads out of jobs. These grads, many who have trained for 4 years in their chosen trades, are left to scramble for cheesy check-out clerk jobs in Walmart and Stop-N Shop.
Once again, King Jorge is just screwing more Americans.
Just drove by a new "In-N-Out" burger joint.
They have a bill-board up advertising that they are hiring at $8.25 to start.
I know several Americans who are working more skilled jobs for less, even if they have been on the same job for several years!
I know some recent tech graduates who are working outside their field, for less than the offered burger joint wages, as the H1-B holders are getting the jobs they expected to have.
You can be virtually certain that nearly every job below general manager at that In-N-Out will be filled by young illegals with fake ID in the next few month's.
It is time to put a moratorium on ALL immigration, at least until we have a genuine handle on the current mess.
