And they're going to expect I'm going to send Marines up there to get them. They're just journalists. They're not Americans."

And when Connell's Marines do go and rescue these "journalists", and have to fight their way to them, killing some of the enemy in the process, the "journalists" will thank the Marines for saving their lives by accusing them of being war criminals, for killing the "heroic freedom fighters" during the rescue.

I think the statement which was ridiculed as neandrathal in the 60s by the pseudo-elite is true. For sometimes it is neccesary to destroy the village in order to pacify it. FACT
