As much as I admire and respect Rev. Flake-even if I happen to disagree with many of his political beliefs-there are certain things he does-such as his recent veneration of Bubba-that turn my stomach.
I hate to admit this, especially as it concerns one of the few Democrats in the city who isn't a complete nut-case and/or incompetent schmuck, but sometimes he reminds of nothing more than a televangelist huckster; like Pat Robertson or Jerry Falwell, more concerned with raking in dough hand over fist, than with enriching the spiritual life of the A.M.E. Church and its congregants.
