It is time to press the attack. As they would say "Power grows out of the barrel of a gun" - but we need to say it with a smile nonetheless. This as opposed to trying to find common ground with them by finding something we both are displeased with the Bush administration about.
This is as much a lesson to me as to anybody else - because I've made that mistake - constantly - in the past. Take no prisoners - they respect raw power...which is the POWER of your convictions - and how you back it up, but we don't need to descend to their level. It's a tough balancing act - but remember - never get down in the mud and wrestle with a pig. Cuz you're both gonna get sloppy and stinky...but the thing is...the pig LIKES it.
It just boggles me that when the RATS lose and election...they immediately start crying about needing to "build a bridge" and make a "bipartisian effort" to "reach across the aisle" when it comes to conducting the business of this country. But when the RATS have been in power lately...all they offer the GOP is a big MIDDLE FINGER.
And I never heard all this carping wither when Clintoon did what he could to give his "friends" jobs during the second term.
