Years ago, there was an article in a conservative magazine
when Clinton was first elected. It surmised that the
Clinton "plan" was in fact a Clinton Dynasty. There was to
be 8 yrs. of Bill, 8 yrs. of Gore (to be controlled by
Clinton), then 8 yrs. of Hillary to add up to a 24 year
Clinton Dynasty - by which time they could then be in a
position of total power whereby they would be able to
dictate the American political scene indefinitely.
In spite of the strength of our system, I don't think even the US could have survived 24 years of those people.
Far better that x42 remained to serve out his term, as he did.
He's still impeached, he's the only one who doesn't seem to know it (except in his heart of hearts if he has one).
He was disbarred. Another stigma.
He's been discredited in the minds of half the country, and history will not look fondly on him.
It was the best outcome we could have faced.
