The opening ceremonies today (which lasted about 3 hours) were held outdoors
Since you can't predict the weather WHY didn't they have the sense to have it indoors? AND since it was raining why didn't they CHANGE the plan and move it inside? I couldn't believe it when I saw all those people sitting in the rain in front of clinton's desalinization plant, oh I mean library.

WHY didn't they have the sense to have it indoors?I heard on the radio today that they had tents up the day before the lie-brary dedication, but the imagemeisters thought they took away from the appearance of the building. So, knowing it would rain on dedication day, they took the tents down, for the sake of IMAGE.
The image I have of the event is a cadaverous, cranky drowned rat, two extremely generous former presidents, and an old fool. Oh yeah. And Hitlery having an umbrella dropped on her head by a soldier she loathes.
