Heal our land, dear Lord, and send revival into our hearts and lives.

Amen!

Amen to these prayer.

I'm worn out from doing battle with the enemy here on FR. Came by to be "refreshed" by the prayers of His people. Thank you all.

"... mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is thy God? " (Psalm 42:10b)

Praise be to Him who answers: "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the age." (Matt. 28:20b)

BTW, kayak, I am still reeling from reading this thread today. Perhaps we could devote one of these threads to advanced prayers for those young guys returning from having witnessed these horrors? It's not to early to start praying for their healing now - even before they finish the job.

It's sad, but we may never be able to hold a ticker tape parade after the WOT, because it may be decades of beating back this hatred. However, I sure hope our returning forces from both Afghanistan AND Iraq are recognized in a VERY big way at some point.

I, like you, am as concerned for those who have seen such horrors in this war as those with physical injuries. My prayers are often directed that way. May the Lord help them cope with such terrible memories and may they draw ever closer to the Balm of Gilead.

And they do this (fight and die) so their children (and ours) won't have to see these horrors. Brave warriors having to deal with the bestial acts of these terrorist, so that we don't have to. No great love, eh?
