Isn't Stern leaving Infinity to go to Sirius? Do I have the story right?
Bought in for a penny, now up to a pound. Wheee!
yes...and mel karmazin will be the new CEO of Sirius
I'm glad private radio is taking off, but I don't think it will do well. Once the price goes to nearly free instead of $10 or $20 a month, it'll be worth it. Until then, it's just not something I'd see most people paying for--and buying a radio for.
Now, if they offered a Stern-plus package, for $15 a year and a free radio, people would buy in droves.
Yep.
Yes , You are correct, time to buy some stock,MEL=$$$$$$$$
no commercials is worth $10 for me
Yes, though Stern has something like a year left on his Infinity contract. He wants to leave sooner though. Stay tuned.
Absolutely. XM rocks!
Im sure it does but so does Sirius!!! :)
I don't think Stern will make it to Jan 2006,not at this rate.
They are shipping money out in train car loads. What is flowing in? I know it will be a century or two before I start paying for radio.
I was seriously pricing the two systems, Sirius and XM, just at the time that Stern made his move. That stopped my efforts cold.
Sure, commercials are annoying. But it's still cheaper to hang on local talk radio. Price is the bottom line for me.
I don't one person that watches or listens to Stern.
I love my Sirius radio. I have to drive 2-3 hours every day and I have so many options available. It's nice to have FOX News in your car when there are so many breaking stories. They have a "Talk Right" and "Patriot" station which has Tammy Bruce and Tony Snow among others.
DISH has Sirius music ~ I like channel 6072 the best. :)
I have both.
but Sirius does have Laura Ingraham too
XM just paid twice Stern's contract for MLB
