Hi, thanks for the PING. I was away on business this week and I have not played in a while. I beat Halo 2 last weekend, so I moved back to GTA:SA. I love both games. Halo 2 is a great game for 8 people to play together and blow each others guts out and GTA:SA is a great game for playing by yourself.

Well, my opinion is that Halo 2 is pretty PG-13 and the GTA:SA should be Adults Only. Not only does GTA have violence, but it has sex, cursing, drugs, and general mayhem. It is not for young kids ages (5-14), however most high schoolers that I know are well aware of sex, drugs, violence, and cursing. I know I was at age 15. The fact is that high school age boys should be able to determine between pixels and real life. If they can't they have other problems.

The thing that makes the Grand Theft Auto series so popular is not the violence and sex, it is the freedom. Particularly, San Andreas allows you to drive around, eat, work out, date, swim, fly, skydive ( I love doing this), race cars, race bikes, do BMX tricks, drive boats, put out fires, rescue people with an ambulance, kill criminals in vigilante mode, be a pimp, be a trucker, gamble, and drive a train. It is the freedom to just do anything. Of course some people enjoy offing "innocent" pedestrians, but what is often not mentioned is that when you commit serious crimes the cops come after you. Three Stars and up is some serious trouble for you. Your actions have concenquences. Sometimes when you try and steal a car the "carjackee" beats you up. Or if you hit a car, the person that you hit will get road rage and try to beat you up.

In summary:
Halo 2 = Great
GTA:SA = Greater
Parenting Skills = Best
Censorship = Very Bad
