Although I wouldn't worry about him (my son) in particular, DU is OFF limits from the kid's workstation. Network traffic on and off the site (which our home network sits behind) is monitored HEAVILY. :-) I think DU would supremely aggravate him and just make him mad anyway.

You are right about Clinton and liberals. But Nixon apparently swore like a drunken sailor, so foul-mouthedness can be bad on both sides. As a general rule though, liberals are more loose with their speech, morals, values etc.

Nonsense. My sister-in-law is a died in the wool leftist and my law school roommate goes to anti-war rallies. I would have no problems with letting either of them babysit my kids.
