I understand, but what does it cost President Bush to do this? Absolutely nothing. Fortunately, we have Rush Limbaugh and others to dissect this tripe over the next few days. I'm sure you've noticed how President Bush visited Rush's show more than once during the course of the campaign? To my mind, this was Bush 43's way of providing tacit approval for Rush's 'strategery'.
I am not particularly fond of sports analogies, but this might be analogous to 43 as coach and Limbaugh as defensive tackle.

to me, Old Cracker, it makes us look weak....Look at Matthews and that crew already making fun of today and Clinton getting his dig in at Pres Bush....why praise him?? to me that is the cost....I dont see why we should at any time, give them any praise NONE, zip, zero...Clinton certainly does not deserve ONE WORD of praise...

Bush shouldn't be paying any compliments to Clinton. Period. To me, President Bush being around Clinton is deterimental. Who wants that kind of scum around you?
