Not to argue with you, but I would never say that those Rangers died in vain, they died courageously, doing their duty and acting in the highest tradition.

When I say that their lives were wasted, I'm referring to the fact that Clintooon pulled them out of there because of public criticism. He didn't have the cajones to finish the job that needed finishing. They did indeed do their jobs courageously and served with honor - it is Clintoon that dishonored them.
