Please don't take it out on the poor canadian troops.They are very brave and so unsupported.They have such poor equipment their lives are more endangered by using the equipment,ie helicopters,poorly armored vehicles etc.
When they were sent to Afghanistan the Canadian brass send them with the green camo outfit,because that is the stuff they had ordered. The soldiers had to put glue on their uniform and stick sand on them to try and get some kind of protection.
When the US military wanted to award a canadian unit of snipers some medals, our government prohibited them from getting those.
Canada used to have a proud military but the canadian government has been taken over by extreme leftists that do not reflect the majority of the canadian public's opinion. Hopefully we'll be able to regain our country like you did,but we'll need american conservative support.

I agree with the rest of your statement but the last sentence cannot be true.
If the majority of Canadians felt this way then Canada wouldn't be in its present shape to begin with.

Diogenesis, consider free and open elections in Canada to what the Mullahs permit.
You can’t compare dictatorial theocracies to democracies.

Hear, hear! There are some fantastic members of Canada's military... less every year though as they retire and not replaced. Some of the best marksmen in the world are Canadian. Too bad their government is sliding into the crapper.

Those who bash Canada should thank them for providing a good bad example for the US. Some part of me wishes they'd go to heck faster so as to provide a better example of socialist policies. Sorry Canadians, I know that's petty of me, but I don't want my country to go Canada's way!
