Amen.
Thanks for the ping.
Uh Oh.
well, all those guys with prostate problems,,Rudy, Kerry, Milkin,,I kind of felt for them as I had visuals of TUR-Ps etc. Even so, when women say it is a "private matter" most people oblige by asking no other questions {except to each other in delighted whispers and speculations}
I can't believe that woman is 50 years old....WOW...she looks like she's in her late 30's!
I join in prayer for Condi Rice's surgery and for her health!
Privacy is only for Democrat public figures, not Republicans.
BJ Clinton and John Kerry never had the media demand serious scrutiny to their medical records.
Paul Tsongas, a Democratic presidential candidate, was able to get away with fibbing about his serious medical condition during the campaign. He died from it not too many years later.
And of course John Kennedy got away with murder with his medical records. (We the public were supposed to think his back problem was from a war injury. It was not. Nor were we allowed to know about his extremely serious Addison's Disease -- nor the many drugs he was on.)
But for President Bush, the press has to reveal all the most intimate health details -- down to hemorrhoids caused as a result of fighter pilot training (apparently common among pilots subjected to g-forces).
For Dr. Rice, I expect an onslaught in the media of embarassing speculation about her health AND her private life.
There does seem to be an extra big need for God's help right now! Thank you for being so faithful!!
Prayers sent.
I join you all with prayers for a full recovery for Dr. Rice!
Thanks for the ping Meek, I just heard of this yesterday!
Depends on context. When she does something official she would be Secretary Rice. When she does something academic she would be Dr Rice. When she is among FRiends she would be Condi.
Perfect!
But let us recall, when we are talking to Democrats, she is not among friends, so she cannot be referred to as Condi. To them, we always have to call her by some term of respect so that we don't seem to be buying into their lack of respect for her.
We are with you, even in that case.
We adore Dr. Rice.
God bless her!!!
