If you have any pull with the Hall, get Link Wray in there at least as an "influence" before he dies (he was born in 1928). Right now he is in the Hall as a One Hit Wonder (for Rumble).

One "hit" but it got Pete Townsend to pick up a guitar and is a favorite single of Bob Dylan (who is STILL a fan).

I would say "Red Hot", which he did with Robert Gordon, was almost as big a hit and a MUCH better (and funnier - check out the lyrics) song, for old-time rockabilly-style oldies fans. I used to see Link and the Wraymen play in person at their digs on the SE side of DC every weekend when I was stationed at Ft. Meade.
