Thanks Velveeta. My hubby commented tonight it's been way too quiet in these parts after the release of those tapes and their threats to do us in. I have to agree.

I woke up in the middle of the night last night wondering what chaos would occur if OBL found his way into America's heartland and it was televised, as promised by them. How would that affect us, our fears about personal safety and trust in our leadership, especially if punctuated with a massive attack. Open borders, unenforced immigration laws, political correctness and toleration of anti-American organizations (ACLU and its ilk) are going to come back to bite us where it hurts one day or downright destroy us. I'm hoping for a better night's sleep tonight, but it won't be because our politicians and judges have made me feel more safe, at least not yet!

Date For Al-Islah "Demonstrations" Confirmed
Dec 07, 2004
By Bruce Kennedy, JUS

Dr. Saad Al-Faqih, the head of Al-Islah movement issued a statement today confirming the date of the upcoming demonstrations for December 16th. The event is taking on serious tones with provisions for everything from banking to security being outlined in Dr. Al-Faqih’s statement yesterday, indicates an uprising is in the works. .

Billed as demonstrations, the Al-Islah event is now taking on serious tones. Headed by Saad Al-Faqih, the leader of the movement who resides in England, many Al-Islah members requested Al-Faqih’s permission to carry arms during the demonstration for self defense, especially now that the Jordanian mercenaries hired by the Saudi government will out in full force. Dr. Al-Faqih has approved any means necessary for participants to defend themselves during the demonstrations. In a statement issued yesterday, Dr. Al-Faqih outlines provisions for everything from banking to security once the Saudi regime has been toppled, which indicates confrontations rather than demonstrations could occur.

JUS learned recently that the government of Saudi Arabia has requested an anti-riot force from Jordan to help maintain security during the upcoming demonstrations organized by the Islah movement. The request clearly shows that the security situation in Saudi is spiraling out of control and it appears that the Saudi government no longer trusts its own security force's ability to maintain its control over the Kingdom.

Jordan has responded by sending 7000 anti-riot soldiers with full riot gear. According to sources close to the Islah movement, the terms of the agreement are

• Jordanian soldiers have arrived in the country by sea on vessels carrying the Saudi flag
• 2500 soldiers were sent to Riyadh, 3500 to Jeddah, and 1000 were to guard Royal palaces.
• Each soldier will receive between SR8000-SR12000 per month. The Saudi Embassy in Jordan has already issued checks to the Jordanian government.
• Jordan's King Abdullah II will (and may have already) receive SR 500 million as a gift, plus, additional undisclosed quantities of free oil.
The Al-Islah demonstrations are to be held in Riyadh, Jeddah, and some eastern cities on Thursday, 16 December (4/11/1425).

A public backlash is expected, especially if Jordanian police kill or injure any demonstrators. The Al-Islah Movement has a radio station based in London that broadcasts into the Kingdom however the station has struggled to remain on the air, with constant efforts by the Saudi, American and British governments to scramble their signals and limit their ability to reach Saudi citizens. The Saudi government has formally requested the extradition of Saad Al-Faqih but the British have turned down this request because they could not produce evidence that Al-Faqih is advocating violence in the UK or the KSA.

Many Al-Islah supporters are calling the upcoming event a major revolution, “mirrored only by the French revolution”, however that remains to be seen. What is clear is that resistance to the Saudi regime that has long been brewing is rising to the surface and exists even among the Saudi security forces leaving the Saudi government no choices but to resort to outside help to protect itself from being toppled.

So, I'm not the only one tossing and turning at night.
