V....it looks like this guy has the same MO as those other Middle Eastern type companies that were discussed earlier this month. Remember the Islamic company in FLA that had over 160 entities, and was trying to evict the Christian school from one of it's properties.

This Cheema guy had Grand Aire, Czars, Snowflakes, Tri-Coastal, Aadvantage Aviation....and I am sure that the list goes on from there. It seems that once you have financial problems, the FAA and NTSB are checking into your business practices...the best thing to do is create a new business name and keep collecting the cash.

Grand Aire jet skids into runway wall in Akron (February 2004)

A Grand Aire Express jet ran into a concrete wall on a runway near Akron last week. It was the second incident in 21/2 weeks for the Toledo-based air charter firm.

No one was hurt, but the plane sustained "substantial" damage, the FAA said.

The plane is officially registered to Tri Coastal. It is a new corporation created by Grand Aire Express that does business as Grand Aire and is based at the same address as the Swanton company, according to FAA spokesman Elizabeth Isham Corey.

Grand Aire owner Tahir Cheema, meanwhile, has begun another air transport company in Montgomery, Ala., known as Aadvantage Aviation, Inc.

Calls for comment were referred to general manager Bruce Marshall, who did not return phone calls.
