From coffee to satellites
Brazil working with Russia to develop launch vehicles, geostationary satellites and other projects

BRAZIL is well known for its coffee.
But now, it has set its sights on a more lofty target - it wants to make satellites and want to be a leader in space exploration.

Granny I sort-of wish I didn't know all this. Do we have anyone on our side? Someone mentioned India the other night. I wish GOD had been a little clearer in the bible about the US.

NEW DELHI, November 30 (RIA Novosti) - Russia is going to build up military-technical cooperation with countries in South-East Asia, the Arab world and Latin America, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Ivanov has said in New Delhi.

"Our services are undergoing deep-going diversification. We are looking towards countries in South-East Asia, the Arab world and Latin America", he said.

He noted also that Russia will go on developing military-technical cooperation with its main strategic partners in this field - India and China.

I read this and thought, how nice, another spot that will
have Russia's latest weapons, pointed at the U.S. (don't forget that Cuba already has their supply.)

Your photos put one word in my mind "Arafat", but I couldn't
make up my mind which I thought was Arafat.....LOL
