I live in the flight line of the largest Naval air station in the world. We have jets, helos, you name it, flying overhead all the time, so it's hard for me to know if anything is out of whack just from air traffic.

C-5A overflights are fun. It sounds like someone is playing a church pipe organ next door.

Yeah, my house is in the "sometime" flight path, depending on which runways they're using/which way the wind is blowing.

And my temporary work assignment is at the Nashville Airport postal facility; the building literally sits on the edge of the tarmac. (My regular duty station is about a half-mile away at the upper end of the main runway.)

It's a good thing I like planes :)
