A scene from 'Buried in the Sand.'
NEW YORK Producers of a DVD called "Buried in the Sand" warn it contains graphic depictions of torture, beatings and beheadings, but they say the images need to be seen.
The film intended in part to counter Michael Moore's (search) portrayal of pre-war Iraq in "Fahrenheit 9/11 (search)" shows Iraqis being tortured (some at the notorious Abu Ghraib (search) prison), publicly executed or mutilated by Saddam Hussein's henchmen.
Some Iraqis are shown being killed by firing squad or sword. The video also shows victims' arms being broken, fingers and hands being chopped off and tongues cut out.

From the article...
"...Shell Oil and Virgin Megastores have pulled the DVD from their shelves after getting some complaints. Shell called the movie morally offensive."
"The producers say their office windows were shot out in a drive-by shooting last week. But they say most of the response has been positive..."
Funny quote. I just wish they got some footage of some of the stuff that goes on in Iran.
What a bunch of sick SOBs we're fighting. Thank God we have Bush in the WH.

FREEP SHELL! Liberty for Oilfields! Who has key contact info for Shell execs, so we can urge their censorship efforts be stopped?
FREEP Virgin--they don't pull filth off the racks, they only censor TRUE, politically-incorrect stuff that offends whom, Arafat? Kofi Annan? Saddam? Who has contact info to FREEP?
I believe I saw it on amazon.com
Thank God for the new media.
Young people will see these in droves, and it will awaken them to the realities that we face.
And they will be voting in the next elections.
This is a beautiful fact about the "new media." Not only have we broken the MSM monopoly, the technology exists to put millions of DVDs out into circulation cheaply. Movies like "FarenHYPE 911" and Buried in the Sand can be mass-copied and send directly to the troops, college kids etc.
Shell calls the MOVIE "morally offensive"... but, how about the acts the movies depict? Out of curiosity, I viewed a portion of one of the beheading videos....because a 'portion' was all I could stomach. Talk about pure EVIL! I was left with a severe loathing for these scum and a resolve to NEVER stop supporting an all-out effort to wipe them out. Perhaps this is why the Libs don't want them viewed by the general public ... it would undermine all their anti-war efforts in one fell swoop.
