Only on TVNewser: Radio talk show host Monica Crowley is coming to MSNBC to host the noon and 5pm hours. The programs will likely debut shortly after the New Year, according to an industry insider. Ron Reagan Jr. will co-host the noon show.

Sources apparently exaggerated when they said a "big name" was leaving FNC. Crowley has served as a Fox News contributor since 1996. "Monica Crowley is no longer employed at Fox News -- we wish her well," an FNC spokesperson said.

I don't get this Ron Reagan thing. He brings NOTHING to the table. I'm not just saying this because I don't agree with anything he ever says, it's just that...he never really says anything of any value and what are his credentials? I find it pathetic that Jr. kisses up to the media types who did nothing but make fun of him when he was young.

Good luck, Monica!!! I wish you well. As for Ron Reagan, Jr., he is by far not the sharpest knife in the drawer. I fear the show will go nowhere with Reagan on-board. You would think that GE would wise up and smell reality, but they won't.

I like calling him Ron Jr., even though he's not really a Jr., for 2 reasons:
1. he hates being called Jr., and
2. because it indicates how little he really matters and how rightfully overshadowed he is by the greatness of his father.

I listen to Monica's radio show on WABC, and she does a great job. MSNBC should have given her the show without Reagan. He's unwatchable.
