A national newspapers sold in airports all over the country with letters starting with the abbreviation for United States of America has a story that John Kerry still has $15 million in his campaign fund and the Democratic National Committee wants to know why he did not spend it against Bush or donate it to other Democratic candidates down the line. Let the recriminations begin! The newspaper can be found on the web, think abbreviation for our country plus the word meaning this 24 hour period. (The newspaper has complained to Free Republic about links to its stories as a copyright infringement so I am not linking there.) This is the same silly paper that used to carry McNews because it had very short articles and cute little graphs on the front page.
Another post today claimed it was 45 millions and over at DU they were going crazy using the 45 figure. Has there been an adjustment published.
id be glad to take it off his hands.
I don't know but even if it's 15 million it will still drive them crazy. I just can't believe how the good news just keep comming. This should drive the democRATS NUTS. Hahaha. Parley
Maybe Soros wants a refund.
Thanks. I think this was the subject of DummiesFunnies today, worth a read.
Public reply: This national newspaper is saying $15 million which is still a lot and one does wonder why. Now it is smart to keep some for Federal Election Commission fines but he did not take the matching funds, right? Many good campaigns try to have something in the black for administrative shut down but that could be done with $2 million or less, not $15 million.
Maybe he needed a cushion to be reimbursed for that mortage he took out on "his share" of Tuh-ray'-zuh's mansion!
Given Kerry's wealth, a sum like this probably just got lost in the sofa cushions.
Can he transfer that mortgage to his new residence THerayzzah's doghouse?!?
Hyperlinks to USA Today/Gannett publications are allowed, excerpts are not.
Looks like someone's getting a new windsurfing board!
That's interesting, I did not post an excerpt and did not check that box but just the URL caused me to get a message saying I could not post the USA TODAY URL. Maybe the administrator will read this and clear up the policy.
Didn't Soros originally pledge 15 million?
OK, maybe you can post the link in a message but I could not post it in the URL box of the post program.
Has anybody ever purchased a copy of this national McPaper? When one reads this paper, does one, like me, get the same feeling you get when you consume a large order of french fries and hot apple pie (caution: filling is very hot) at McDonalds?
That must be his post-nup account.
Yup, that's the one, see post number 11 by A.A. Cunningham.
