I don't consider the depictions necessarily racist, bigoted, etc., but of course if a conservative cartoonist had thus depicted a LIBERAL black woman, then the cartoonist would be placed in stocks and pillory.

Double standard, as usual ... benefitting liberals.

There was another cartoon - not in this group - which also implied a sexual relationship between Rice and Bush. So I think it is racist insofar as they can only see an educated black woman in sexual terms, cannot imagine a relationship with such a woman as being anything other than sexual.
