I don't remember them. I guess I stopped reading Doonebury a long time ago. Clyde sort of sounds familiar, did he wear a big hat? I forget what those hats are called, sort of like an over-grown newsboy hat?

Yeah, he did have a large hat but it certainly wasn't a cowboy hat lol. I stopped reading them decades ago so this was probably in the 70s.
