Have you ever watched the show? It is the most anti-religion, anti-God and even anti-human piece of misanthropic trash ever to air. It has nothing in common with Law and Order, other than a production team.
Everything about the show is strange. The stripped down, utilitarian sets, the weekly shots of everyone from the Lt. to the ADA crowded around Goren's desk breathlessly waiting the next pronouncement. It's creepy.
