I agree, but are we prepared to go to war if let's say we wake up tomorrow and learn that one million chinese soldiers have parachuted into Taiwan?
Think about it.

That's true. Hopefully if our CIA is worth anything they can see it coming, and we can be prepared to take action. Asia is a powder keg getting ready to blow, and we need to stabilize the middle east as fast as possible so we can be ready to face it.

That would be more than 1/3 of all Chinese military personnel (~2.4 million--about a million less than ours). That's exactly what I would like to see them do. See the info behind the following to get a clue. We just spent enormous revenues to defend Taiwan at the behest of most US Republicans who know anything about the situation. ...not to mention what Australia and other countries are spending on the same. Allies are fully capable and ready to smack China's puny military down, and we'll grow our military strength as the insane Chi-Com leaders build theirs.

Think about it.Not only should we be prepared to, but we have to, it's the law you know. The fact is China sees us as enemy #1, everything they do is calcualted to reduce our influence or hurt us in some way or on planning on going to war with us. And if they truly want to fight, the sooner the better because in 10-20 years they may be able to put up a decent fight with all the stolen technology they've obtained.

Better yet, are the special interests that own our government prepared to go to war over Taiwan and loose all those pretty factories they just built? If China closes those factories, then a lot of the American companies go out of business and there is mass lay offs in the US. Not only can we not simply switch on production but our machinery is now in China.
