"Can a people that believes more fervently in the Virgin Birth than in evolution still be called an Enlightened nation?"
Hahaha, this is too funny. I'm assuming this question comes from an "enlightened" individual who believes that life spontaneously erupts from rocks and water (the underlying premise of evolution :)
Frankly, it's a little easier for me to believe in a virgin birth than in spontaneous conception from rocks and water (i.e. the "primordial ooze"...)

Looney tunes, those who argue against a virgin birth, and in favor of evolution have a harder time explaining their "immaculate conception" from rocks and water...
So which is really harder to believe? Spontaneous life from the womb, or spontaneous life from rocks and water?
