Some Cornell University students are looking to help New York secede from the Union.

You can have the blue counties with my blessing. Try anything with the red ones and you'll be doomed to disappointment.

Just what CANADA needs...more highly taxed, mostly frozen, real estate occupied by whining losers.

...wish I'd saved that clever image of the North Korean flag as Ithaca emblem.

The bards t*rds of Ithaca had better figure out just what NY counties they want to take with them to Canada. The unfriendly ones which surround them ('blue' in this graphic) would be plenty happy to see them go but aren't going to go along with them, New York City, Long Island and the imbedded decaying upstate cities.

Oh, and by the way, these upstate people?... - unlike the losers in New York City - are ARMED, know how to use their arms, and immensely dislike downstate Liberals with an attitude!

Vishwasrao stresses that the division of the Democrat and Republican states has been present "since the Civil War" and is not something new over the past two presidential elections.

. It's apparent that Harsh is not a history major.

What are the odds that any of these geniuses planned on staying in New York after graduation to begin with.

They can "go" to Canada, but they can't have NY.

I hope they can pull it off. Quite frankly, I don't think there will be a shot fired this time.

how dare they? HOW DARE THEY **** with my flag. If you want to join Canada, fine, that will be decided in parliment and government.

But to attempt to assert their own authority over us? Canada does not want to join any states, we have decided that years ago.

At first i thought this might even be a good thing, giving Canada more influence in the world. It is obvious by their approach that this will not work.

"The blue states have more in common with the political ideology of Canada than we do with the red states. Make of that what you will."

Somehow I think the average British Columbian or Albertan would strongly disagree.

Figures: Whiny NY liberals ignore "flyover country" here in the US, and they ignore just about everything west of Quebec north of the border.
