This mountain blew up because we just didn't care enough about the environment.

Join the K2 Society. Working to take Everest down a notch (and at least 785 feet).

Melting Glaciers Said Threatening Everest

Think how easy it will be to climb when the ice and snow is gone.

I'll Join! That Everest is just getting to uppity for me. I think we should get a lot of dumptrucks....I mean a LOT of dump trucks...fill them with dirt, and drive to the top of K2 (Mt Goodwin-Austin for those in Palm Beach) and give it that extra 800 feet it needs to be the champ!

Melting glaciers caused by climate change pose an urgent threat to Mount Everest's unique environment

I have to disagree.Really now, wouldn't it be easier to climb Mt. Everest if all of the snow was gone??? (snickers)
