"We had five drunks or six drunks when I got here," the South Carolina Democrat told his colleagues. "There are no drunks in the United States Senate now. ..."

Alcohol is so last Century. These days, betcha got five or six junkies in your midst, Senator.

Instead of the booze comments, I found his comments on women to be the most shocking in this day and age: a member of the "party of tolerance"* bashing women for yakking! You'd think that the "party of tolerance" would be "smarter" than to say to the world that you can't shut up these yakky women!

*"Party of tolerance" will be marked in the future by "sneer quotes", similar to the phrase "religion of peace" in sneer quotes meaning those who practice jihad, beheadings, and terrorism in the name of Islam.

Dere's too much comsumin' goin' on!

Good to be rid of this old fool. There aren't 16 female senators either. There are only 13. And can you imagine the outrage that would follow if some conservative made a sexist statement the way he did?
