Well, in this election, the Libertarian Party siphoned votes from Gregoire - the gay-Rights Activist Lesbian spent teh whole campaign pandering to various leftist groups and liberal voting blocks... She was trying to "send a message" to the Democrats...

In this state, the Libertarian Party is pretty much solidly Leftist, with teh exception of a very few individuals... Sigh...

Dear friends, we need new updated margins of victory (for Rossi) after the data of 7:25:00 PM, i.e. +19 votes for our candidate. We need more that 500 votes to beat Demons attempts to overkill (again!!!) this Election in WA, before a recount. If you’ve got other results, post it. E.G. I see that 1000 votes of King have to be counted; my question is: have they included the 400+ votes given to Demon-rats in “affidavit"??? Please, help Republican Party of WA. Thanks.

Ha, Ha. My husband and I were at B&I store in Tacoma buying foam for our motorhome. There was an obvious lady-of-the evening directly in front of us in line. I really began checking out her clothing, shoes, makeup, etc. It was then I realized it was a man!

By the way she/he bought a easy tote, tri-fold out foam bed.

What has Mike Murphy done that deserves being called that? Other than being a Democrat, I mean? I voted for Sonntag as Auditor, who is a Democrat - is he a "S**t-man", too?

Oscar Lewis din't run much of a campaign, and it shows...

Yes I believe the 400 affidavit votes have been counted and are included in the totals.

First he campaigned strongly against Bush. Second he is a fellow of Gregoire's party. She deserves only a jail!

Well, maybe Oscar Lewis should have tried just a teensy-weensy bit harder, don't ya think? These "Placeholder" candidates tick me off...

Yes those are some of the votes they went to court for last Friday. I don't know if they should have been counted but they were when people signed their ballot envelopes. Dems got the majority of them but not all.

IMO Rossi now speaks for a vast majority of them.

I had lunch with Rossi last February. I mentioned to him that "Scoop Jackson" Democrats and "Dan Evans" Republicans occupy much of the same ideological turf. If you're Catholic or Jewish, you'll be a "Scoop Jackson" Democrat while if you're a Protestant, you'll be a "Dan Evans" Republican. Dino agreed, pointing out that his Catholic father shared his values and was a lifelong "Scoop Jackson" Democrat.

The communists are going to be none too happy if their recruits in King County screw this up.

Well, they got Grays Harbor County to do their work for them. Front page of tonight's Aberdeen Daily World says that our incompetant Auditor's office made some mistakes, counted Republican ballots too many times, and instead of Rossi leading in our county, he really trails Gregoire. There's even a minor race for public utility district commissioner that will flip-flop, too, and the "winner" had already conceded.

I guess our new Republican Attorney General will have some work to do when he gets into office...

Not true. They're elected separately in California, and I'm pretty sure in Texas also.

this would be a good time for Republicans and Libertarians in Washington state to smoke a peace pipe and find out if there is any common ground on the budget or taxes or something. Any bets on what the Libertarians would want in the peace pipe?
