Why didn't NBC's photographer go the the rescue of this "innocent Iraqi" if he thought the guy was harmless?

Shame on NBC! Our young men and women are defending your rights to free press. You put a young American's future in jeopardy with total disregard to the realities of War.

Personally, as an American, I am sick of this type of disrespect for our Country and our Military.

Why was this clip allowed to be aired in the first place?

During WWII its my understanding that Military Intelligence got to give the 'say-so' before any film could be aired. Whats the current protocol? Especially since stuff like this can be taken out of context and be detrimental to our goals in Iraq in the first place.

I'm not defending Sites, but there was a post earlier where he stated that the Marines he's been with have behaved very professionally and with great restraint, and that this particular situation was very confusing.

Too late, Kevin. The damage is done. To anyone watching Al Jazeera or the other world media, this is the representative image of the Fallujah fighting, though Kevin Sites and everyone else knows it is not at all representative.

But, Kevin, when you chose to highlight this particular footage and emphasize that it was a "mosque" (even though it was really just an outbuilding on a mosque compound and you could have just said "building") and that these were "prisoners" (when they demonstrably weren't) you shot all of the Marines who fought in Fallujah in the back. You distorted the true image of what happened in Fallujah and tarnished the image of thousands of good men for nothing more than your own glory.

Screw you, Kevin Sites. You had your 15 minutes of fame. You're done.
