In 2000, 87% of provisional ballots were valid. Ohio has had provisional ballots for a long time -- they are NOT something new or unfamiliar. In the past they have followed the distribution of the rest of the vote quite closely.

that's good news. some of us were merely reacting to the bizarre reports -- promises, in fact -- of dem mischief via the provisional ballot.

and now the weenies from the greens and libertarians have apparently "paid for" a recount. this thing could drag on for weeks yet.
