Oh, darn. I'll have to get my bottled water myself.

I flew this weekend and there was a Delta announcement in the terminal which said the flight to San Jose would not have any food and it was okay to bring your own drink and beverage aboard.

What airport were you taking off from?

Leaving from Miami wouldn't be a terribly long flight but if you were departing from Seattle or Chicago, it might get a little intolerable.

Yeah, like I had to have them announce it, in order to do it anyway. Many airports now have decent food that is substantially better than the oxymoronic "airline food".
