The link above is to a message put out by the Secretary of Defense. It provides the official guidance for embedded media and what they're allowed or not allowed to do.

Kindly show me where this message requires pixelation of faces, as you've been claiming. Hell, show me exactly which element of this message Sites allegedly violated.

Listen , despite your best efforts you haven't convinced and you are not going to convince most people here that
a) What Sites did was correct or ethical and
b) That the USMC would jeopardize the safety of that Marine and his family by having his identity possibly revealed to a bunch of rabid jihadists.
CNN recognized the danger and did the pixillation.
Kevin Sites better hope for his own sake that nothing happens to anybody in that Marine's family,because of the actions of deranged jihadists,or troubled anti war fanatics.
Finally, I do not wish to be bothered by you or your posts.
