That's the wild card. As with any governor he has no foreign policy experience himself, but there's nothing in his resume that suggests he'd be anything but a hawk. I'd assume he'd be as effective as Dubya on the WOT, since Bush also came in with no experience, but put together the right Administration and the rest is history. If Sanford either picked a VP like Cheney who has the experience, or a good cabinet, I think he'd be fine.

I love Sanford as my Governor and I have never said that about any Governor!! I have never in my life given so much credit to a gov. He is honestly trying to pull in the reigns of spending in this state! His biggest obstacle is the State Senate and House....they override him and vote more spending in and no spending cuts!
I like him and I would support him 100% but I sure hate to lose him as a Governor!
