What's the big deal? The guy who was shot by the US Marine was a terrorist. Just to remind you about waht terrorists do: ![](http://members.aol.com/tallhappy/ww3/04.jpg)

The soldier did what we wanted him to do, he just did not follow the book precisely. So what? Give him a reprimand, and get on with it.

Give him a reprimand, and get on with it.
I say:
- Hold the hearing today.
- In a hour or less, hear the evidence.
- Punishment - one hour in the brig - effective immediately.
- As he's leaving the room, a field promotion -- another stripe, a pat on the shoulder and a "Job well done" from the senior officer present.

You know...every time I see one of these photos it breaks my heart. Imagine getting up in the morning to get ready and go to work never knowing that before lunchtime...you will be jumping out of a building that has just been hit by terrorists. It's mind boggling.
We are at war. This Marine did what he thought was the right thing to do. People need to look at the photos you posted again of the attack. They want to hide their heads in the sand.
Terrorists are the enemy. This Marine is our hero.
