I called my local Atlanta affiliate WXIA (404-892-1611). I was told that it wasn't their responsiblitity since they are only an affiliate.
Now, I am pretty upset to begin with but that put me over the edge. They can't even take responsibility for what is airing on their own stations. I gave the man a man a taste of a redhead's temper. I told him I will contact every local sponsor I witness on WXIA and let them know why I will no longer be buying from them.
I also called NBC Washington bureau 202-885-4200.
I think I'll call CNN next. They are a local number and I can vent some more.
My local affiliates pull the same crapola on me sometimes. I just remind them that my next call was to xxxx Ford dealership to let them know why they will never get my business. Call a few local advertisers, they don't like being told their advertising dollars are costing them sales.
Going at the advertisers is the most effective tool we have. IMO.

One local affiliate just refused to air Saving Private Ryan on Veteran's Day! If they can assume that kind of responsibility to censor what is seen, they can easily assume the same responsibility by refusing to air this Sites report.
