I jumped into this because your only response to geek was varying iterations of incredulity, and ever hotter rhetoric. Geek does indeed sound like a nut, but he at least grasps the magnitude of the problem. And truth to tell, I don't think it would take much to convince him to moderate his position provided one shows a willingness to address the problem as it exists. You on the other hand, show no such clarity. It shouldn't take much to show him wanton butchery is wrong. But how does one reach a person like you, who imagines we can negotiate with people for whom "honor killing" makes sense?
Can I look forward to you actually addressing the substantive questions I posed rather than another petulant outburst?

However, the point that you raise is still valid, I suppose, though saying that Geek's argument is more reasonable than mine is more than a little bit silly. As far as the magnitude of the problem, maybe you could clarify it for me? I think it's pretty big, but apparently you think it's bigger?
