I too, am outraged by the MSM replacement for Abu Gharib! These jerks are thrilled when they can "get something" (in their twisted minds)on our guys. Whatever we can do, let's just do it! I, unfortunately have nothing but liberal congress members, and senators from my blue state of Calif., and will get NO support from Feinstein, Farr, and Boxer you can be sure, but I will write the president and everyone else to support this guy and get rid of the NBC traitor!

She said, "Yes", and I told her I hoped Senator Warner would be supporting these young men who are out there doing their duty in extremely difficult conditions. I further said that I have been watching the news and felt that the MEDIA was trying to lynch this young man and I hoped that the Senator would try and tamp down the hysteria the media was trying to generate over this.

I ended by adding that Sen. John Kerry got a Purple Heart for the same type of thing.

I have also e-mailed the President and Vice President and called the Commandantof the Marine Corps office. We gotta help this kid and all of our military. It has not been proven the Iraqi was still alive. He moved slightly ONLY when a soldier kicked the corpse.

Besides, these same marines had experience with Iraqi's faking being dead, and then ambushing our guys.

The military tribunal should find him guilty of nothing more than desecrating a corpse, and at most, given 7 days of confinement to barracks along with K.P. duty.

I remember watching a documentary on Iwo Jima and the mop up operations that followed the battle. Any Japanese soldier who was suspected of "playing dead" was shot. Period. You either legitimately surrendered or you were legitimately shot.

If this guy was pretending to be dead, (and apparently he was) then it was proper for him to be shot whether he was armed or not.

I would also recommend calling NBC affiliates. Ask for the both the Genral Manager and the Sales Director. Sales hates to find out that you will be contacting local sponsors. I wrote a letter of complaint to the FCC about NBC and my local affilate for airing this tape in the first place.
