Since this trial is still ongoing, why don't you contact Race and let him know you are willing to testify on his behalf. We've already done so, a long time ago. My husband and I were witnesses to the event that day, and have already agreed to testify for Race when and if he needs us. :-)

It sounds like you had an unusual problem. So far PayPal has been great for me. I think that PayPal would bring quick payments from people who just don't have time to get a check out. Accepting credit cards is nice too. It's worth trying. He might want to set up a second email box to accept payment in just to keep it clean.

THANKS...I couldn't find a stamp. I just sent you a 20 spot. Good luck, buddy.

"I'm not an expert. Maybe there is a special rule that makes it taxable when you ask for contributions?"
Hi.
I'm no tax lawyer, but in an earlier post I had mentioned that if the donor writes in the memo of the check "Gift" his donation would be considered a gift?
I'm merely reposting this in the hope that if someone in the know reads and confirms it, then checks could be sent to RaceBannon in time as gifts.
If I'm wrong on this, please disregard my suggestion. I'm not a lawyer.

Another fine example of PayPal's customer no-service.

Hey, Jim...
isn't there some reporter down there who would like to do some stories about this?
I could read "between the lines" in the paper from the older Boise articles that the reporters thought he was a scumbucket...
maybe we could get the ONE Yalie professor who donated to Bush's campaign to help find you a free lawyer on campus...
