Yep, I know that people are fake-surrendering, booby trapping the dead, etc. I certainly hate to second-guess this marine. That said, if the man was clearly unarmed and wounded it probably wasn't smart to shoot him with a tape running.

This incident points to the larger problem of embedded reporters on the front-lines, IMHO. Things can be taken out of context very easily.

I'm concerned that is what is putting our troops lives in danger. A few seconds of hesitating to see if a camera on, may get them killed.
